Winners of Blackboard Awards for Asia 2019 Announced
Blackboard Awards recognise and honour innovation and excellence

SEOUL, South Korea 16 October, 2019 – Blackboard Inc., a leading education technology company for teaching, learning and student engagement, today announced the winners of the Blackboard Awards for Asia 2019.

Founded in 2005, the annual Blackboard Awards recognise and honour innovation and excellence in the Blackboard global community of practice, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible when leveraging technology.  Winners are selected by a cross-functional team of Blackboard experts.  The honourees from across the Asia region were recognised during Blackboard’s annual Teaching & Learning Conference Asia 2019 held in Seoul, South Korea on 14 to 16 October.

“We are delighted to recognise the winners of this year’s Blackboard Awards, we are in an environment of constant change, however, the one constant in our sector is the overall commitment by institutions such as these to leverage technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience,” said Philip Murray, Regional Vice President of Asia at Blackboard.  “Through our awards, we hope the winning institutions will continue to champion the pathway to improving student success and inspire others in the region to follow, we look forward to seeing where EdTech takes them in the future.”

Professional Development
This award recognises those who use Blackboard programs to support and enhance their faculty and staff’s professional development.  The winners are:
